Upside

Upside is a cash back app that gets you free cash back on groceries, dining, and gas. The app competes with services like Ibotta and Rakuten, but markets itself as "smarter" cash back, due to it's personalized nature.
The Problem
Upside's pre-existing paid social creative was 99% UGC video, with little diversification or wins in the branded space.
The Solution
I spearheaded creative strategy and execution, prioritizing and producing eight concepts each month for use on paid Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and Google.
To uncover new learnings, we tested a diverse array of static and animated visual executions, leveraging known best practices of highlighting tangible earnings and numerical claim callouts.
